Access to Opportunity

The HBCU Pathways Program is a year-round program focused on college readiness, career exploration, and cultural awareness. The program is designed to inform decisions related to career paths BEFORE students select a major or college, and to connect participants to early work experiences with the overarching goal to positively address the achievement gap through increased college attendance and meaningful career paths.

Why HBCU Pathways

Students will complete a career assessment AND hear directly from professionals representing different disciplines and career paths. Students identify and apply for internships and shadow opportunities.

College Readiness

Students will receive important information and resources related to college applications, scholarships, and majors.

Culture

Students will learn rich history related to role of HBCUs in America, and the accomplishments, innovation, and inventions of African people across the Diaspora.
